CRM Form Manager
CRM Form manager enables users to create forms that follow a complex business process. You can make the form “follow” the data by turning on and off tabs, making fields visible, required, and showing certain pick lists at certain times.
For instance, you can take a sales methodology and make the CRM form follow the methodology by using this simple system. If the sale is in the qualification stage you can:
1. Hide the support page.
2. Make the deal amount mandatory.
3. Highlight the deal amount in yellow.
4. Use a subset of a picklist for next sales steps.
5. Show / hide tabs as necessary.
Any CRM developer can do what we describe here, but our form manager is great when you want to turn over form management to the end user, or you want a self documenting system for a complex process that will change
Steps:
Create a new form manager record… Say we want to make the last name yellow and hide the first tab if the last name = “Martin”
Create a criteria/Action record. You can have one or more of these records. They can play back in any sequence.
Criteria /Action Records have the following abilities.
· Requirement levels: Can be changed based on criteria
· Visibility. Make fields visible or remove them if they don’t apply
· Pick List filters. Change picklist values based on criteria
· Colors Change colors based on criteria
